Recovering the Altar
Throughout Scripture, the people of God were repeatedly called back to the altar—to places of worship, surrender, intercession and encounter with God.
Prayer Union carries this same burden today.
We believe that the Church is called to recover the priority of prayer and to cultivate communities where believers pray together with faith, persistence and spiritual purpose.
Our desire is to see prayer restored from being an occasional activity to becoming a way of life.
Building the Watch
Prayer requires watchfulness.
Prayer Union seeks to encourage believers to become watchmen—people who remain spiritually alert, intercede faithfully and stand before God on behalf of families, churches, communities and nations.
Through prayer gatherings, prayer watches, teaching, training and fellowship, we seek to equip believers to develop a disciplined and enduring life of prayer.
Carrying the Burden
True intercession carries a burden.
There are moments when God places people, communities, nations and situations upon the hearts of His people and calls them to stand in prayer.
Prayer Union exists to help believers recognize, embrace and faithfully carry these burdens before God.
We believe that prevailing prayer is prayer that perseveres.
