To mobilize, equip and connect believers and Prayer Unions for united, persistent and prevailing prayer that advances the purposes of God in families, churches, communities, cities and nations.
Prayer Union exists to cultivate a movement of prayer that is biblical, united, disciplined and enduring.
We seek to accomplish this by bringing believers together, equipping them with biblical understanding and practical tools for prayer, and creating opportunities for them to pray, serve and lead together.

Awaken the Church to the priority of prayer
We call believers back to the place of prayer and encourage a renewed understanding of prayer as a foundation of Christian life and mission.
We desire to see prayer move from the margins to the centre of our personal and corporate lives.
2. UNITE
Bring believers together in prayer
Prayer Union seeks to build bridges across churches, communities, generations and denominations around the shared call to seek God.
We believe that united prayer creates opportunities for believers to pursue God’s purposes together.
3. EQUIP
Equip people to pray effectively
We provide biblical teaching, prayer resources, training and practical opportunities that help believers grow in their understanding and practice of prayer.
Our goal is not simply to inspire people to pray, but to help them develop a sustainable life of prayer.
4. ESTABLISH
Establish and strengthen Prayer Unions
We encourage the formation of Prayer Unions in churches, communities, institutions and other settings where believers can gather regularly for prayer.
We seek to provide guidance, training and connection so that Prayer Unions can grow in maturity, effectiveness and spiritual influence.
5. WATCH
Build a culture of spiritual watchfulness
We encourage believers to develop prayer watches and rhythms of intercession that cultivate spiritual alertness and perseverance.
We believe watchfulness requires people who are willing to remain faithful in prayer, even when answers are not immediate.

Develop a culture of persistent and prevailing prayer
Prayer Union emphasizes prayer that perseveres.
We encourage believers to remain steadfast in prayer, trusting God and continuing to intercede until the burden is carried and God’s purposes are accomplished.
