Prayer Union believes that prayer and mission belong together.

We return to the altar to seek God, we prevail in prayer for people and places, and then we go where God sends us.

Field Ministry is the practical expression of this calling.

It takes the burden we carry in prayer into towns, villages, homes, streets, communities and mission fields.

We pray for the harvest. We go into the harvest. We serve the harvest.

OUR FIELD MINISTRY VISION

To mobilize a praying and missionary people to take the Gospel and the love of Christ into towns, villages and communities, beginning where God has given us responsibility and extending to the nations.

Field Ministry seeks to establish a pattern in which:

PRAYER leads to MISSION.
MISSION leads to DISCIPLESHIP.
DISCIPLESHIP leads to MULTIPLICATION.

We don’t want to remain spectators of mission.

We want to participate.

Return to God and restore the place of prayer.

Field Ministry is Prayer Union on the ground.

It is where prayer becomes presence, compassion becomes service, and mission becomes practical engagement with people and communities.

A central expression of Prayer Union’s Field Ministry vision is town and village ministry.

Many communities need more than occasional events. They need people who will pray, return, listen, serve, proclaim, disciple and remain faithful.

We therefore seek to encourage sustained engagement with communities rather than simply passing through them.

Our desire is to see:

Prayer in the community.
The Gospel in the community.

A Field Expression of the Prayer Union Vision

Hosanna Town and Village Ministry Punjab represents an important field expression connected with the Prayer Union vision.

Its focus is to take prayer, evangelism, discipleship and practical Christian ministry into towns and villages.

Through this ministry, the vision is to:

Pray for towns and villages
Reach families and individuals
Proclaim the Gospel

Encourage local churches
Develop local Christian leadership
