PU RISING provides opportunities for believers to develop biblical understanding, spiritual maturity, practical ministry skills and missional leadership.

We believe equipping is essential because passion must be strengthened by truth, character and preparation.

SCHOOL OF PREVAILING PRAYER AND MISSION

The School of Prevailing Prayer and Mission is a key training expression of Prayer Union.

Its purpose is to equip believers to understand the biblical foundations of prevailing prayer and participate effectively in God’s mission.

The school brings together:

Prayer + Scripture + Mission + Discipleship + Practical Ministry

Its emphasis is simple:

Equipping a Generation to Pray and Go.

PRAYER TRAINING

Participants are equipped to develop a deeper and more consistent prayer life.

Training may include:

Biblical foundations of prayer
Intercession
Prevailing prayer
Spiritual watchfulness
Prayer and fasting
Prayer walking
Praying for communities and nations
Developing prayer movements
Leading prayer gatherings

The goal is not simply to teach people about prayer.

The goal is to develop people who pray.

MISSION TRAINING

Believers are also equipped to participate in the mission of God.

Training includes areas such as:

Biblical mission
Evangelism
Gospel communication
Cross-cultural mission
Community engagement
Discipleship
Mission strategy
Church and Prayer Union planting
Field ministry
Reaching towns and villages

We want participants to move from learning about mission to participating in mission.
