PUNJAB HOSANNA MINISTRY INITIATIVE
From the Altar to Every Town and Village — and from Punjab to the Nations
The Punjab Hosanna Ministry Initiative is a field expression of the Prayer Union vision—to move believers from the altar to the field and from the field to the nations. Prayer Union brings together worship, intercession, evangelism, discipleship, leadership development and mission, with a particular emphasis on taking prayer beyond church walls and engaging people and communities where they live.
Prayer Union is a movement of worshippers, watchmen and witnesses, calling the Church to return to God, prevail in prayer, go where God sends, proclaim Christ, make disciples, plant new expressions of prayer and mission, multiply the work, and send others further. Its field-ministry approach connects prayer with practical engagement in towns, villages, homes and communities.
Within this wider vision, Hosanna Town and Village Ministry — Punjab provides a focused expression of Prayer Union’s mission in Punjab: praying for towns and villages, reaching families and individuals, proclaiming the Gospel, discipling new believers, strengthening local churches, developing Christian leadership, establishing prayer communities and encouraging multiplication into other communities.
Our Ministry Journey
1. RETURN — Return to God and restore the place of prayer.
2. PREVAIL — Stand in intercession for people, communities, churches and nations.
3. GO — Move beyond the church building and enter the places where people live.
4. PROCLAIM — Make Christ known through the Gospel.
5. DISCIPLE — Help people grow as followers of Jesus.
6. PLANT — Establish new expressions of prayer, discipleship and mission.
7. MULTIPLY — Equip others to reproduce the work.
8. SEND — Release and support others to carry the mission further.

Our Burden
We believe Punjab is both a field for mission and a place from which a wider missionary movement can emerge.
The Punjab Hosanna Ministry Initiative therefore seeks to establish a sustained ministry presence among towns and villages—not simply through occasional events, but through prayer, relationships, Gospel witness, discipleship, service and multiplication.
We envision:
- Prayer Watches covering towns, villages and communities.
- Community Prayer carried into the places where people live.
- Town & Village Outreach taking the Gospel beyond church buildings.
- Evangelism proclaiming Christ clearly and compassionately.
- Discipleship helping new believers become mature followers of Jesus.
- Church Strengthening encouraging and equipping local churches and leaders.
- Prayer Union Planting establishing communities of prayer, mission and discipleship.
- Leadership Development raising worshippers, watchmen, witnesses and servants.
- Multiplication equipping local people to reproduce the work.
- Sending releasing workers, teams and resources from Punjab to wider mission fields.
This reflects Prayer Union’s field-ministry principle:

From Punjab to the Nations
The vision is larger than reaching Punjab alone.
As prayer communities, disciples and ministry leaders are established across towns and villages, Punjab can become a training ground and sending base for wider mission.
What begins at the altar can move into the village.
What begins in one village can multiply into another.
What God establishes in Punjab can become a model for ministry in other regions and nations.
