We believe prayer is more than an occasional activity or a response to crisis. Prayer is a way of life—a place of worship, surrender, intercession, discernment and participation in the purposes of God.
Prayer Union calls believers everywhere to return to the altar, take their place on the wall, carry the burdens God places before them, and prevail together in prayer.

A Prayer Watch is a designated period in which believers intentionally give themselves to prayer for specific spiritual burdens.
You may pray:

or at another time established by your Prayer Union.
The goal is not simply to fill a timetable.
THE GOAL IS FAITHFUL WATCHFULNESS.
A Prayer Watch may be personal, family-based, local, national or global.
You can pray alone.
You can pray with others.
You can join an existing Prayer Watch.
Or you can help establish one.

Prevailing prayer is persistent prayer rooted in faith, Scripture, surrender and obedience.
It does not mean manipulating God or demanding a particular outcome.
It means remaining faithful to the burden God has placed before us while trusting His wisdom, timing and purposes.

Jesus said:
